NCT's new album, preordering 1.12 million...Self-Record

Title track "Make a Wish"...Diversify member combinations for each song

Boy group NCT's new album, which is set to be released as a full 23-member group, has set its own record with 1.12 million pre-orders.

Their agency, SM Entertainment, said that the pre-orders for their second full-length album "NCT - The Second Album, Part 1" (NCT - The 2nd Album RESONANCE Pt.1), which will be released on the 12th, reached 1.12 million as of the previous day.

This is about five times more than the pre-order volume of NCT's previous work "NCT 2018 Empathy" (about 200,000 copies) released in 2018. Compared to NCT 127 and NCT Dream, which make up NCT, which have raised about 530,000 pre-orders and about 500,000 pre-orders, respectively, in their latest work, it is about twice as many.

NCT is composed of twenty-one members who are active in NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV (WayV), and Shotaro, who is scheduled to work for the new NCT team to be launched later, and a total of twenty-three members including communion.

In this album, the theme of "NCT 2018 Empathy," goes one step further, and aims to communicate with music through "RESONANCE" and create synergy together.

The title track is "Make a Wish," a hip-hop-based dance song featuring addictive whistles. In addition, it featured different combinations of members, including "Miss Fit," reminiscent of a hip-hop style in the early 90s, emotional R&B (Rhythm and Blues), hip-hop song "White Light," and "Piano" with the concept of the last performance for a lover.

It also features three songs that express one subject, "Dancing," in the style of each team of NCT 127, NCT Dream and WayV, and a variety of songs, including "Dancing in the Rain," in which Jae-hyun participated in the lyrics.

NCT will release "NCT - The Second Album, Part 2" later to complete its second full-length album.
