SEVENTEEN Ranked No. 1 in Japan Oricon Weekly Albums
Group Seventeen has also proved its popularity on the Oricon weekly chart.
According to Oricon, Japan's largest sales website, on the morning of the 28th, Seventeen topped Oricon's weekly overseas album ranking (10.19-10.25) with its special album "; Semicolon" released on the 19th, sweeping various charts at home and abroad. It ranked second in the Oricon chart's weekly album ranking and weekly combined album rankings, with sales of more than 90,000 copies sold there, and also settled at the top of the weekly digital album ranking.
SEVENTEEN's special album "Semicolon" topped the weekly charts of various major music sites, including the Hanteo Chart, with initial sales of 930,000 copies, ranking first in 12 overseas iTunes charts and ranking first in a total of 38 regions. The title track "HOME;RUN" has been receiving rave reviews from music fans around the world for its colorful charm ranging from the sharp group dance to the colorful movements through a performance that seems to be watching a musical.
Seventeen will attend the "2020 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards," which will be broadcast live online at 6 p.m.
